What is FlowCap?
FlowCap was born from a personal need. I love working on web projects but there wasn't a good browser-integrated way to capture my tabs. I wanted something that could give me production-quality demos with little effort. Since nothing like this existed, I decided to build it.
How Does it Work?
When you start a screen recording with FlowCap, it captures both the video and metadata about what you're doing - page information, cursor position, keyboard shortcuts used. This data makes it easy to add effects like cursor follow and realistic browser frames to the final composition.
To start, just click the FlowCap icon in your extensions, record your screen, then edit with the built-in tools.
Is FlowCap Private?
FlowCap is fully local, nothing leaves your device. No servers, no accounts, no third parties. As an added advantage of running locally, FlowCap even works entirely offline if you want to record local files.
